CPU-Z Free System Utility

CPU-Z is a free system utility lightweight tool which gathers information on main devices of your system. Many of you will be using high end pcs but sometimes you may not know the processor speed and make, mainboard make and model etc. The information retrieved by CPU-Z about your PC is very much useful. CPU-Z is a freeware system utility tool launched by CPUID. CPU-Z installation is very easy and it doesn’t write to registry or doesn’t copy any file to windows directory. All the files will be copied to a directory and will be executed.

Information retrieved by CPU-Z

CPU

  • Name and model number
  • Clock speed
  • Core voltage
  • Package
  • Supported instruction sets
  • Cache Information

Mainboard

  • Vendor, model and revision
  • BIOS model and date
  • Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor
  • Graphics interface

Memory

  • Frequency and timings
  • Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) like vendor, serial number, timings table

System

  • Windows and DirectX version

and much information about components will be shown.
