Debut Video Capture Software is very much efficient for capturing video from almost any device which is owned by NCH Software. Debut Video Capture Software can record webcam, computer screen, external devices, streaming video etc. Debut Video Capture 1.60 Beta version is freeware, lightweight and easy to use. I downloaded, installed and used it to make a small video capture of my screen and the screenshot shown. Video Capture Features
- Videos will be captured directly to your hard drive (location ex: c:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Videos\Debut\)
- Snapshots also can be captured directly to your hard drive (location ex: C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Pictures\Debut\)
- Videos can be captured into many different video formats .avi, .wmv, .flv, .asf, .wmv, .flv, .asf, .mpg, .3gp, .mp4, .mov and many other formats are supported which you can find in the section “Record as:”
- Capture video from your webcam, computer screen or video input device (such as VHS recorder)
- Anything which can be seen on your monitor can be recorded
- Video and Audio can be recorded simultaneously
- You can add time stamps or your own text captions as shown in the screenshot I attached
- You can change encoder options, color settings and video effects before recording
- You can burn video directly to DVD using Express Burn Disc Burner (another product from NCHsoftware.com)
